Membership of Defence Force Welfare Association (DFWA) is open to any serving or former member of the Australian Defence Force, including Reserves; and their spouses, widows or widowers; as well as mermbers of Allied Forces or anyone suporting the interests of the Association.
The DFWA needs your membership if it is to continue to be successful in providing advice and support to its members. A strong membership helps us defend and improve conditions of service, and continue to provide support to those who may need help in obtaining their entitlements.
DFWA has two main membership categories. These are:
To join online as an ordinary member (ie, annual or life) ... simply click on the link on the bottom left of this screen and follow the prompts. Alternatively, print the application form and send to the Branch of your choosing.
Please note that online membership is currently not available to join the WA Branch. Please contact the WA Branch direct for further information or use the hard copy application form. If you are a serving ADF member please consider joining as a Virtual Member.
Finally, DFWA may extend Other Forms of Membership where special circumstances apply, for particular individuals or groups. They are managed on a case by case basis.
