MEMBERSHIP OF THE DFWA Membership of Defence Force Welfare Association (DFWA) is open to any serving or former member of the Australian Defence Force, including Reserves; and their spouses, widows or widowers. The DFWA needs your membership if it is to be successful in providing advice and support to its members. A strong membership helps us defend and improve conditions of service and continue Association activities in support of those who may need help in obtaining their entitlements. A short information brochure provides further information and an application form for printing. With effect from 1 January 2009, there are several new classes of membership as listed below and a new fee structure.
